The Stubborn Honeys are an American/Roots Rock band created by singer/songwriter Taylor Whitaker. Coming off her first solo release, Heart on a Wire, she wanted to explore other avenues of creativity. Making her way from Milwaukee, WI, Nashville was the ideal home to make this project possible.
As Taylor puts it, "I was inspired to start a band, and sort of move past the singer/songwriter role. I wanted to create something that would encompass more of the community we have as musicians and artists - a collective of sorts"
Heavily inspired by the great Americana/Folk bands and songwriters of the past and present, as well as musical friends and comrades, The Stubborn Honeys were Born.
